With more than 30 years of experience in the trade, he has built the company into one of the city’s most trusted and respected plumbing service providers since 2005. A certified Red Seal Plumber and Class B Gasfitter, Wade is driven by a genuine passion for helping people and solving problems with practical, lasting solutions.

For Wade, plumbing is more than a trade, it is a calling rooted in service, skill, and care for others. Lorie is known for her positive attitude, steady support, and ability to make both teammates and clients feel at ease. She enjoys being part of a team that values people, laughter, and doing things well, and she takes pride in helping keep the office running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Lorie embraces life on the West Coast, spending her time kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and expressing her creativity through painting. She’s a devoted fan of CSI and Criminal Minds, loves discovering great local food spots, and is well known around the office for her ever-growing collection of Crocs. A lifelong Beatles fan, Lorie brings a happy-go-lucky spirit, a warm smile, and a genuine love of life to everyone she works with.

Meet Jared, our Service Manager and highly skilled Red Seal Plumber, who thrives on honing his craft and supporting others in their growth. His natural ability to teach, guide, and encourage makes the service industry a perfect fit, and he is deeply motivated by helping both teammates and clients succeed.

Before entering the plumbing trade, Jared spent eight years in the restaurant industry as a Red Seal Executive Chef, building a strong foundation in leadership, adaptability, and high-pressure problem-solving. With two Red Seals to his name, he brings a unique perspective to the team and is passionate about equipping others with the skills and confidence they need to excel. Jared is committed to leading by example and helping Wade Roberts Plumbing continue to earn its reputation as one of the most trusted and respected service companies in the city.

Outside of work, Jared enjoys shopping for tools, tending to his garden, playing sports, and spending time outdoors. An avid traveler, Jared looks forward to continuing to experience new cultures and adventures as he grows both personally and professionally.

Theresa Kantarakias

Meet Theresa, our Client Care and Dispatch representative, who joined the Wade Roberts Plumbing team in November 2025. With more than twenty years of customer service experience and a heart that genuinely delights in caring for people, Theresa brings a calm, human presence to every call. Raised in a family rooted in the trades, she feels most at home in environments built on hard work, integrity, and community.

With formal training in Social Service Work and office administration, along with certifications in crisis response and communication, Theresa has a natural ability to make people feel seen, supported, and safe. She is especially passionate about empowering youth and advocating for individuals with disabilities, and she approaches every conversation with empathy, clarity, and respect.

Outside of work, Theresa enjoys sightseeing drives, connecting with people through online gaming communities, and getting lost in stories through her favourite shows and books. Warm, humble, and quietly funny, she brings steadiness, compassion, and genuine care to our team and to every client she serves.

Matt Mooney

Having been plumbing since graduating high school, Curtis began his career in new construction before transitioning into service work, where he found his true passion. Certified in backflow prevention, he takes great pride in his workmanship and enjoys making a positive impact by helping homeowners better understand their systems and feel confident in their homes.

Curtis is known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine care for the people he serves. He values clear communication and takes the time to explain options in a way that feels approachable and honest.  Curtis takes pride in being part of a company that holds itself to a high standard.

Outside of work, Curtis is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring new cultures through travel. His adventures have taken him across New Zealand, Australia’s Gold Coast, and Montego Bay, Jamaica. Easygoing and adventurous by nature, Curtis is passionate about environmental stewardship and building a better future.

Before entering plumbing, Scott worked in the Coast Guard, as a social worker, and as a yoga instructor, experiences that shaped his adaptability and people-first approach. He thrives on interacting with a wide range of people and enjoys the variety and problem-solving that come with plumbing.

Scott takes pride in having worked in multiple countries and across Canada, experiences that have enriched both his professional skill set and personal perspective. Known for his enthusiasm, openness to learning, gratitude and positive attitude, he is continually focused on expanding his knowledge and refining his skills within the trade.

Outside of work, Scott embraces an active and adventurous lifestyle. He enjoys camping, playing guitar, going to the gym, jogging, golfing, reading, and practicing kickboxing. A music enthusiast with a growing collection of instruments, Scott also loves exploring new places, with favorite travel experiences including the Philippines, Australia, and Panama. His passion for growth, adventure, and learning makes him a valued member of the Wade Roberts Plumbing team.

Mark Tolmay

Plumbing Technician

Meet Mark Tolmay, a Red Seal Plumber with extensive experience gained from his years owning a plumbing company in South Africa. Now based in Victoria, BC, Mark is excited to begin this new chapter with Wade Roberts Plumbing, drawn to a company whose values align closely with his own commitment to hard work, integrity, and exceptional client care. He enjoys problem-solving and finds real satisfaction in seeing clients feel relieved and confident once an issue is resolved.

Mark brings a calm, capable presence to every job and appreciates the variety the trade offers. One of his most memorable experiences involved discovering a 300-year-old skeleton during a plumbing job,  a moment that left a lasting impression and reflects the unexpected stories that come with hands-on work. He also takes great pride in having built his own dream home, a challenging and rewarding experience that pushed his skills to a new level.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys off-road trail riding and hiking, and values time spent with his family. His travels have taken him to memorable destinations including Monaco, Sanremo in Italy. A lifelong learner and experience collector, Mark dreams of one day driving from the northernmost drivable point in Alaska all the way to Cape Horn in South America, and looks forward to creating many new memories in Canada.

Martin Leuvennink

Meet Martin, a dedicated fourth-year service plumber who brings decades of hands-on and customer-facing experience to his work. Before plumbing, Martin built a diverse career that included working as a builder and contributing to movie sets in South Africa, along with many years in customer service that began aboard cruise ships in 1999. These experiences shaped his practical skill set, adaptability, and strong client-first approach. He finds the greatest satisfaction in fully solving problems and ensuring clients feel confident and at ease.

Martin is known for his strong faith, resourceful mindset, steady presence, and genuine kindness. Inspired by his father, whom he considers his superhero, he carries a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude into everything he does. He takes pride in doing quality work and values being part of a team that prioritizes integrity, trust, and craftsmanship.

Outside of work, Martin is a passionate nature lover who enjoys beekeeping, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Originally from South Africa, he has traveled to destinations such as Greece, Namibia, and Botswana and now looks forward to embracing island life and new adventures. A collector of vintage tools and an admirer of traditional craftsmanship, Martin dreams of one day building his own log home, with a deep connection to the outdoors.

Originally from Alert Bay, Sheldon brings a grounded, thoughtful presence to his work. He values building strong connections with clients and takes pride in leaving plumbing systems running smoothly and homes respected. Known for his reliability and steady demeanor, he believes good service is built on trust, clear communication, and consistency.  Sheldon approaches his work with a quiet sense of pride and responsibility, always aiming to leave people feeling taken care of and confident in the work that’s been done.

Outside of work, Sheldon finds peace in nature and enjoys hiking and scenic drives along the West Coast. Often accompanied by his dog, Kenai, he loves exploring places like Mystic Beach, Port Hardy, and Kingcome Inlet. Family is a strong motivator for Sheldon, and as a former rugby team captain, he also dreams of one day attending a Rugby World Cup match.

With a background as a professional chef and restaurant manager, Edwin spent several years in the food and beverage industry before deciding to pursue a career in the trades. After completing his Plumbing Foundations training, he began building his path toward becoming a Red Seal Plumber, bringing focus, care, and a strong work ethic to every job.

Edwin is known for his calm, reliable presence and his ability to approach challenges with patience and curiosity. He takes pride in learning the trade thoroughly and values being part of a team that emphasizes quality, respect, and continuous growth. His experience working in fast-paced environments has shaped his attention to detail and commitment to doing things the right way.

Originally from Kerala, India, Edwin is proud of building a new life in Canada and embracing a new culture alongside his wife. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Victoria’s food scene, relaxing with documentaries or a Harry Pottermarathon, and spending time on one of his biggest passions — aquascaping. At one point, Edwin maintained nearly 27 fish tanks and dreams of one day visiting Japan’s koi farms. Curious and thoughtful by nature, he brings a quiet depth and sense of care to both his work and his life.

Meet Ruby Love, the beloved office mascot at Wade Roberts Plumbing and a cherished member of the Roberts family. With her sweet nature and gentle presence, Ruby brings warmth, comfort, and a smile to everyone she meets. She’s always ready to offer moral support during a busy day and is well known for sharing her favourite treats — especially beef jerky — with her many devoted fans.

A Cavapoo born on Valentine’s Day, Ruby’s loving spirit shines through in everything she does. She quickly won the hearts of the entire team and proudly serves as the star of the annual WRP Christmas card, delighting clients and teammates alike. Whether she’s greeting visitors or quietly keeping watch over the office, Ruby has a special way of making people feel welcome. Ask anyone on the team and they’ll tell you: Ruby isn’t just the mascot, she’s the unofficial glue that keeps spirits high and days brighter.

When she’s not napping in a sunny spot or watching the fish tanks on Lorie’s desk, Ruby enjoys long walks on the beach, spirited games of catch, and taste-testing only the finest gourmet meat treats. Her cheerful presence adds a sense of joy and family to the workplace, reminding us daily of the simple power of loyalty, companionship, and love.

Easton Garard

Plumbing Technician

Meet Easton, a Level 1 Plumbing Technician whose initiative and positive energy set him apart from the start. When he decided he wanted to become a plumber, he didn’t wait for an opening, he spotted a Wade Roberts Plumbing van parked at a friend’s house, walked up to the front door, and asked if we were hiring. That kind of confidence and drive reflects the way Easton approaches both his work and his growth in the trade.

With seven years of experience installing shower doors and a strong foundation in customer service, Easton understands the satisfaction of completing a job properly the first time. He enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and connecting with people, and brings focus, care, and enthusiasm to every task as he continues to build his plumbing skills.  Easton brings a light, upbeat energy into every interaction, and his sense of fun and genuine enthusiasm make working with him — and being served by him — a truly positive experience.

Outside of work, Easton stays active and loves spending time outdoors and with friends. He has traveled to New Zealand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and has a deep appreciation for adventure and learning. A fan of The Alchemist, Easton enjoys snorkeling, playing a variety of instruments, and exploring great food spots. Curious, motivated, and open-hearted, he brings a sense of possibility and momentum to everything he does.
